Since we were not able to enjoy the long vacation and the kids got bored, the husband decided to purchase tickets online at The Dessert Museum, well it was cheaper than the walk-in rate. And because it was my birthday that day, I availed the free entrance they offer, we just have to pay one adult ticket to claim it. For the price of Php 699/each, the tour-goers get two-hour curated tour of the museum with up to 6 free desserts from Artisan Chocolates to Cake Pops.
We were there earlier than our scheduled so it gives us more time to take photos. As soon as my daughters saw the entrance, they were thrilled because of the colorful walls, which makes their heart happy. Well, majority of the color is pink which is one of their favorite colors. It is a 2-hour tour to check the 8 mouthwatering rooms of sugar-filled happiness, we were given electronic wrist band which they need to scan whenever you go from one room to another. Please be mindful of your wrist band especially with young children as they will charge you when you lose it.
The
tour is done by batches to avoid overcrowding. Each themed room featuring a
particular dessert and before you claim you free desserts, you need scan your
wristband first. The desserts are good and varied however if you got thirsty,
they didn’t give free bottle of water, instead you need to buy it for Php 50
each. Booo!!!!
Anyway, let me tour you around the Dessert Museum with 8 themed room namely Donuts, Marshmallows, Candy Canes, Ice Cream, Bubble Gum, Gummy Bears, Cotton Candy and Cakes. They have staff there to take professional pictures of you and will charge you at the end of the tour. This is optional, its up to you if you will claim it or not. They were also happy to take pictures using your own phones/camera.
1. Donuts Room
This
is the first room that welcome you once you enter the place. You can feel the
surge of sugar rush as you slide down at the donut room. My kids go crazy in
the first few minutes upon entering this room, so what do you expect them to
feel when we reach the next room? Double happiness especially they claimed
their free dessert.
2. Marshmallow Room
There’s
nothing special about this room, we just indulge in pure fluffiness as we walk
through a thousand marshmallow hanging from the ceiling. It’s raining with
marshmallows here! Every corner is Instagrammable. We received marshmallow with
chocolate dip from their own chocolate fondue fountain. You can choose either
chocolate or strawberry. Sugar rush isn’t it.
3. Candy Canes
3. Candy Canes
This is my most favorite room among the 8 themed rooms as it had a handful of interactive where you can enjoy playing the Jump Rope, See Saw and Swing! These are the things that my kids love here. But for me, I’m so in-love with the shelves full of colorful balls and another corner full of hearts. Ang cute!!! Lakas maka Instagram! Time is not enough so you need to take photos fast! Thanks to the staff who willing to take photos of my little family.
This
is the most favorite room of my kids, as they received one cup of ice cream! They
also enjoyed the huge ball pit, the bath tub with candies and the ice cream
cone that holds the hot air balloon, it feels like you are in the Disney movie
“UP”.

5.
Bubble Gum Room
This
room is so boring for me. There is no special thing in this room as you only
enter a larger-than-life gumball machine and laze amongst the white balloons.
Well, at least my kids enjoyed it.
6. Gummy Bears Room
6. Gummy Bears Room
Another
not so favorite room for me, you will see huge yet definitely cute gummy bears
statue. You can also see hanging gifts, scattered and hanging colorful
balloons. This room is really Instagram worthy.
7.
Cotton Candy Room
This
room is also my kids favorite spot as they enjoy the beauty of spun sugar
clouds or what we called – Cotton Candy! We also enjoy the free dessert before
we proceed to the last and final room. Alam nyo na kung anong dessert? Hehe.
It’s
a bit dim-witted than usual so you need some extra lights to capture perfect
photos. My husband use my mobile phone flash light here.
8. Cake Pop Room
We
love this room as we are so happy swinging around with glee on gigantic cake
pops, it’s like “wrecking ball” shot. You can also play mini basketball here
like my daughters did.
Overall, The Dessert Museum is really good for selfie addict individuals who would enjoy the Instagram worthy backgrounds. My kids love the place and appreciate it especially the free sweet treats given every room. Age doesn’t stop anyone to enjoy this place, but please do not expect much as there's nothing to do inside but to take pictures. Just simple tips if you’re planning to visit this place, go on weekdays (the earlier, the better) so less people on the tour and more time to take photos without any photobomber (Haha), wear comfortable clothes and most important, make sure that your camera or phone are fully charge.
