Where to eat in Makati: Boulangerie22

My husband and I always go out for a one-hour quick date every Friday, this is what we called “#MarriageFirstFriday” and our friends knows that our date means another food trip and they always look forward to know kung san kami kakain. (insert kilig face here. Hehe)

Anyway, last Friday we had our lunch date at Bugong in Dela Rosa car park. There’s no special about the chicken, we were disappointed upon receiving our order, the chicken is so small, di pa nga ata umabot sa lalamunan ko yun eh kaya my husband decided to have some dessert in the nearby, well there’s always room for dessert, right?  Our initial plan is to have some coffee at Starbucks however Ian suggests that we should try Boulangerie22 at One Legaspi Park.

Imagine, we walked from Dela Rosa car park to One Legaspi Park in the middle of the day but it’s all worth it. We were greeted by the aroma of oven-fresh bread and variety of fresh breads and cookies; actually we immediately checked out all the trays on the shelves and we had a hard time choosing from their selections! Ang dami sobra! They all looked delicious. 

 

After few 10 minutes, we finally placed our orders. My husband chose Japanese Custard Cream Cheese Bread, Japanese-style bread with custard cream cheese filling. According to my husband the bread is so soft, cheesy and buttery.

I ordered for Cheddar Chicken Floss Bread. This is super delicious, I sweat! The floss is made of premium chicken cooked thoroughly, mixed with selected spices topped over traditionally baked sweet buns. They have different variants which includes Chicken Floss, Cheddar Chicken Floss and Spicy Chicken. All the carbo loading was worth it!

Of course, we also tried their Frappe. Good thing they offer Buy One Take One for only Php 129.00. Not bad! It’s like hitting two birds in one stone. Ian ordered for Taro Cream Frappe while I got for my all-time favorite, Chocolate Espresso Crème Frappe.

The only down side of our orders is that upon sipping our frape, there are lot of small plastics included in our drinks, actually hindi  na namin sya inubos at tinapon na namin even though it’s so tasty, ang hirap uminom pag may nakukuha kang plastic. My husband told me na bumalik sa store for proper complaint however it’s already past 1pm and I need to go back to office. I guess the plastic we got from our drinks is from the ice, good thing the supervisor (Mr. Jomar) gave us new set of drinks after few days. :)
