Mommy Diaries: Thank you Lord for the gift of F-A-M-I-L-Y.

We’re not a perfect family but we are BLESSED. We faced lots of problems but my husband and I decided to hold each other’s arms and believed that we will overcome this predicament not now but hopefully soon. I know that God were given us this life because we’re strong enough to live it. I always thank the Lord for giving me the greatest gift of all, my own and loving F-A-M-I-L-Y.

As a working mom, it’s very challenging for me to take care my children at the same time my husband. Why? Let me share with you my secret on how I manage my time with what they called “Work-Life-Balance”. I’m a hands-on mother so I won’t let other people prepare their food kaya kahit na pagod from work I make sure na ako parin ang nagluluto ng pagkain namin. Once I got home, my full attention is with my kids once they’re sleeping it’s time for our “Husband and Wife” moment. During this time, we had the chance to talk with each other na kami lang. Nagkukulitan, nag aasaran at kung ano-ano pa. At the end of the day, before going to sleep alam kong na fulfil ko yung pagiging nanay at asawa ko. We also have our “#MarriageFirstFriday” which I encourage every married couple to do the same para kahit papano hindi mawala yung init ng pagmamahalan.

You don’t choose your family. They are God’s Gift to you. 

Thank you for the gift of being a mother.

This is my dream, to have a happy family, to be a wife, mother and achieve our goals in life. I thank the Lord for the times I get to spend with my family and friends which for me they are the most thoughtful gifts of all. I always thank this opportunity to witness how beautiful the life is, our growing family, our investments, our achievements in life. These are some of the many reasons to be grateful every day, for every gift that the Lord has given me.

My kids are my treasures; I want them to grow up to be a good person with fear in God. I want them to be loving and responsible children, I want them to realize how meaning and beautiful life is kaya nga we make sure that we spend most of our time with the kids, picnic at Circuit Makati on Saturday then Mass and Mall time on Sunday. I love spending my day with my family, kung pwede lang talaga maging SAHM ako ginawa ko na matagal na, but I can’t. We have lots of obligations as parents’ kaya we need to work hard for their future.  

So here I am, thanking our God for all the blessings to me and my family, for the strength that he gave me each day, for all the people I have met along this journey and to those who make my life more meaningful.
