Part 1: Rhian’s 1st Birthday Celebration

Last January 20 my unica hija turns 1. We had a very simple celebration that day, since meron nga kaming bongang party on 24 we decided na wag na masyadong magpaka garbo ng handa. So how do we celebrate Rhian’s 1^st birthday? Well, we woke up early for her monthly check-up, we sang a birthday song with matching sayaw sayaw pa. We pray and thank the Lord for giving us a healthy baby girl. We had our breakfast at home and went to Makati Medical Center for check-up. Right after that we were schedule to visit DFA to get her passport, yes! Kinuhanan namin sya ng passport kasi we plan to visit her grandparents in US hopefully next year. (If God’s will)

The party starts around 5pm at our house. Actually super simple lang sya pero super saya ng anak ko. My mom cooked Spaghetti, my dad cooked Bico while I prepared Hotdog with Marshmallows on stick, fried chicken , lumpiang shanghai, pizza and cake. Sabi sa inyo super simple lang eh. We invited some of our neighborhood and kids as well to come and celebrate Rhian’s special day.

My mom prepares pabitin and agawan ng barya para mas masaya daw. And guess what, lahat ng kiddos natuwa! Pati anak ko sobrang nag enjoy.

After party, it’s time for family photo-ops. Actually, medyo pagod na ditto anak ko since whole day syang gising. As in hindi sya natulog because of excitement and happiness.

I want to take this opportunity to say Thank you to the Lord for giving us a healthy baby girl, for the past 12 months hindi sya na confine and hindi tinamaan ng malubhang sakit. I guess, that is one of the benefits of being a breastfed baby. Thank you to my parents and family for being there for us and for taking care of our little girl lalo na pag kailangan namin ng makakatulong sa pag aalaga kay Rhian. Thank you also for financial support pag kailangan namin at pag medyo gipit kami. To my in-laws na super supportive rin kahit na nasa ibang bansa, ramdam parin namin yung presence nila. To all our friends who show their love, care and concerns kay Rhian - THANK YOU! We were so blessed to be surrounded by people who love us unconditionally.
