I’m so thankful kasi before magpalit ng taon, fully magaling
na si Rhian. God is so good all the time talaga. Anyway, kung gano kami kasaya
at ka excited for Christmas, ganon rin kami last New Year’s Eve. And since
nya. This is the first time we celebrate
New Year’s Eve at our home, ever since I got married kasi sa house ng parents
ko kami lagi.
For our Media Noche, I prepare baked macaroni (of course
using my new electric oven. Naks), baked cheesy sugpo, lumpiang shanghai,
tilapia, liempo and pancit canton (1st time kong magluto nito). Of
chocolates, white wine and softdrinks. Ooppss. I forgot, meron rin pala kaming
bigas na nasa maliit na lalagyanan. (pampaswerte daw according to my mom).
After our photoshoot for our greetings, we keep ourselves
busy by watching television. But when the countdown begins, ayun nabuhay ang
natutulog naming diwa.
We watched our neighborhood habang nagpapaputok, pero
hanggang dungaw lang. I saw at my baby’s face na super naamazed sya sa fountain
(I guess, makulay kasi) and explain to her na every year before her birthday makakakita
sya ng ganon. By 12:30am of January 1, sabay sabay kaming nag pray and kumain with
matching picture taking parin.
Rhian’s 1st New Year Celebration was successful.
For me and my husband it was double celebration, New Year’s Eve at the same
Thanks Giving narin for all the blessings that we received for 2014. Looking
forward for more blessings this year! Cheers!
