Nine Months Full of Love

Dearest Rhian,

One year ago today your daddy and I received a priceless gift ever, one that has made our family rich and complete. OMG! I can’t believe it’s been a year already. Ang bilis talaga ng panahon. Let me tell you this one baby, you came into this world on January 20, 2014 at 8:21 am via Emergency C-Section at 6.11lbs., 9.1/2 inches. Yes! Emergency CS honey, after almost 9 hours of extremely labor pains I tried to delivery you via normal but you are so makulit and pilya that time, I pushed so hard but still ayaw pang bumaba ng head mo, mukhang nag enjoy ka sa loob ng tummy ko. And when my OB doctor found out that your heartbeat was starting to slow down they decided na I Emergency CS ako, kahit ano kakayanin ko, only the best for my baby. I’ll never forget that morning as I saw you. No words can explain how I feel that time, its PRICELESS! All the pains are worth-it. You are so beautiful, you are special and unique. By the way anak, your Daddy was the first one to saw and swaddle you in the hospital, medyo hilo pa si Mommy that time eh.

Moving forward sweetheart, the past year has been one of the best years of our lives. My first 2 and half months being with you (Thanks for Maternity Leave), were blissful. I’m proud to say that I've watched you grow and develop your own personality. You laughs make everyone giggle, you are so lovely kasi. Your Daddy loves you so much, and you know what, he was able to come home early just to see you, play with you and help me in taking care of you.

Rhian, you taught me to be a good mother. I know I can’t protect you all the time, but believe me I will do everything for you. I promise to love you unconditionally, I will take care of you even if you have your own family someday, I will always pray for you that God will guide you in everything you do; I will be your forever bestfriend and your number 1 fan. Chingching, there is no one like you because you are special and unique.

Sweetie, as you enter the toddler stage mas marami ka ng madidiscover and remember that Mommy and Daddy are here for you. Lahat ng questions mo about life, susubukan namin ipaliwanag sa abot ng aming makakaya. I want you to be humble always, to make friends, to be grateful every day of your life, have fear in God and always see the blessing and the lesson in things.

If you have problems anak, you can always tell me and I will listen carefully. Like what I always told you, I will do everything for you. Kaya nga lagi akong nag pray kay Lord to give me and your Daddy more strength para makayanan namin lahat and to be the best parents for you. Being your mom is such a privilege and I am honored to be called “Mommy”. You are the reason why I always wake up with a smile on my face, you are the reason why your Dad is doing his best to be a good father and provider.

Anak, you know what I am the luckiest Mommy in the world to get to hold you in my arms and kiss your tiny toes everyday. If only I can stop the time and forever baby ka nalang, ginawa ko na siguro but this is reality. Rhian, thank you my sweet loving baby girl for showing me how amazing it can truly be.
