We celebrated Rhian’s 8th Month
at Berjaya Hotel, staycation ang peg namin. Medyo sosyal ng unti this time, mukhang
may nakuhang bonus nanay ko eh. Yes! You read it right, my mom decided to
celebrate it sa hotel and sya daw ang magbabayad. Wohoooo… (Btw, Berjaya Hotel
is sister company of Friendster where I work now, so may 50% discount kami.) So
if you want to try Berjaya Hotel, just let me know ha para ma avail nyo yung
discount.. ^_^
At first, parang hesitant kami ituloy
since a day before our schedule staycation super lakas ng ulan (Bagyong Mario)
at baha sa lugar namin. And we don’t want to risk na ilabas si Rhian at baka
magkasit, but God is so good the following day umaraw na kaya tuloy ang
staycation. Wooohooo…. Fast forward.. I called Berjaya Hotel a week before
September 20 and avail my privilege as Friendster employee; we booked for
deluxe room with two single beds since marami kaming matutulog sa kwarto. We arrived at Berjaya Hotel around 2pm and
prepare our things for early dinner.
While waiting for others to come, we opted
to take mini photoshoot. Alam nyo naman ang pamilya Villareal, walang kahili
hilig sa picture. Hehe.

Rhian's favorite thing to do pag nasa kama kami, gawin akong hawakan para makatayo sya. Oh Baby Love! You are so big na talaga.. Please don't grow up so fast!

And since nagtitipid kaming mag asawa
(preparing for our little girl’s big day), we decided na magbaon nalang ng mga
kakainin instead na lumabas pa kami for merienda, dinner and breakfast. My mom
as usual prepared spaghetti for her favorite apo, she also cooked Pork Giniling
and Chicken Spread while my Dad cooked Kamoteng Kahoy (Ian’s all-time
favorite). My husband bought 2 orders of Chicken at Andoks and of course
mawawala ba yung monthly cake, syempre hindi. This time we decided to try cakes
from Red Ribbon – Their own version of Rocky Road cake.
My mom is sooooo generous, can you believe na nagpaagaw pa sya ng coins pampa swerte daw, e usually ginagawa lang namin yung during Christmas and New Year. But for the sake na masaya ang celebration, she did it for the first time. Woohoooo… In fairness, naka Php 130 ako.. Hehe.

That night, we let Rhian do whatever she wants. Hinayaan namin sya na pag laruan yung cake and tikman, although pinipigilan ko baka naman kasi sumobra but I'm happy because she discovered something new. Good Job Baby!

After our mini program, we decided to
sleep early but our little girl wants to play pa kaya habang naglalaro ang
bagets namin (together with her DaddyLo), my husband and I spent quality time
together by watching “She’s Dating A Gangster” on his laptop. Yes! Kami na ang
huli, hindi pa namin napapanood yun. Hehe.

The following day, my family opted to swim
and enjoy the rest of the day at the pool. Ayaw kong mag swimming kasi super
duper to the highest level ang lamig ng tubig, look at our daughter’s face
halatang irritable kasi ang lami ng tubig so I told my husband na 5 minutes
lang si Rhian sa pool and sa bath tub nalang sya mag laro..
We left the hotel by 12noon and continue our celebration at Glorietta. Umuwi na parents ko since they want to sleep more pa, e kami pinili namin mag simba sa The Landmark Chapel to thank God for everything and all the blessings we received. We had our late lunch at Kenny Rogers, stroll around Glorietta and SM and finally merienda at Mochi Cream Café. Yummy! (will post my review about this resto soon)

We arrived at home by 10pm and can you
believe it, bagsak kaming lahat sa kama dahil sa pagod especially our daughter.
Now, looking forward for our next month celebration. Malamang sa bahay ulit,
tipid mode as usual in preparation for her BIG DAY.
