Surprises on our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Even though we’re married for 2 years and been together for 8 years; we make sure that we give each other a surprise during our special occasion. Mapa birthday man yan or monthsary asahan mo na kung hindi kaming 2, isa man sa amin meron surprise, pero madalas si Ian ang may surprise lagi. Hehe.  But this time, I want to make extra effort for everything he does to us, sa lahat ng puyat at pagod nya sa pag tra-trabaho para lang buhayin kaming mag ina.

Before our anniversary, I decided to give him customized cupcakes. Why cupcakes? Simply because we love sweets and I want personalized gift. Why not chocolate instead? Because marami na kaming chocolates sa bahay. Hehe.  (talagang nagpaliwanag pa ko db?!) Anyway, I have only one supplier in my mind when it comes to customized cakes and cupcakes, wala ng iba kung hindi ang supplier rin ng giveaways ni Rhian during her baptism – PAMCAKES.

When I told Pam about my peg (plus I send her some photos as a reference), she already have the same idea in her mind. Ang galing, parang nababasa nya agad yung nasa isip ko.. Hehe. Anyway, here are the simple guidelines that I sent to her. (talagang guidelines db. Hehe)

For Dad T-Shirt – Color Blue

For Mom T-Shirt – Color Purple

For Baby T-Shirt – Color Pink

Then, add SLR Camera hanging on Dad’s neck, Our Anniversary Date, Greetings, Ian + RN = Baby Rhian and most important is that I want a pastel color for the Platform. I want colorful cupcakes since makulay ang buhay naming mag asawa. Naks! Look what Pam sent me after I discuss with her my peg.  O db meron pa talagang ganyan. Hehe.

She suggest Black Bottoms Cupcakes, it’s a chocolate cupcake filled with cream cheese and choco chips. To tell you honestly, super sarap ng cupcake! Di masyadong matamis and super soft nung loob. So presenting you my anniversary gift for my hubby.

Closer Look

Super nice right! Now, let me discuss you pano ko sya nauwi and naitago sa asawa ko, knowing na super galing nyang mambisto ng mga suprises. On July 23, I met Pam’s husband few blocks away from our home, as soon as I arrived at our home I told my auntie to keep my gift to her room, mahirap na kung sa ref ko sya ilalagay lalo na panay bukas sarado ng ref si Ian. Happy to say na di madaling matunaw yung ginawang topper ni Pam. Then, after an hour I put the box of cupcakes inside the big luggage bag (yung pang travel namin bag) and place it near our bed. Di naman sya halata since di pa namin naliligpit yung ibang gamit naming after our staycation at Berjaya so akala ni Ian na puro damit lang namin yun not knowing na andun yung gift ko sa kanya.. Fast forward.. After showing his surprise to me, ako naman ang naglabas ng surprise sa kanya.

Wala na kong ibang narinig sa kanya kung hindi, “Ang ganda ng gift mo honey, yung akin walang kwenta!”. I told him to stop saying that kasi simple lang yun compare sa mga nagawa at ginagawa nya para sa amin. I’m so happy kasi nagustuhan nya yung gift ko and he keeps on telling me na di daw namin yun kakainin, ididisplay lang daw. Haha.  

HIS SURPRISE

According to my humble husband, di naman daw maganda gift/surprise sya unlike last year during our 1^st anniversary na todo effort sya this time daw due to his busy schedule di na daw nya napag handaan. Todo explain ang lolo nyo. Hehe. Look what I got from him.

Now tell me, hindi ba nya ginamitan to ng effort?! Hello, for me too much effort nga eh. Yung mag print ka na sakto sa ilalim ng kisses is not easy, trial and error ang gagawin mo dyan, plus i-cu-cut mo sya and dikit. Imagine when and where did my husband do it? Ian is a software engineer and knowing that kind of job is super busy as bee. So for me, I got surprise parin and na touch ako sobra kasi may effort talaga db. Plus, kinilig parin ako kahit simple lang db.
