15 months @ Don Henrico’s

Even we’re already married, we never fails to celebrate our wedding monthsary. I know it sounds cheesy, but that’s what we are. So every 24^th of the month either we stay at home with special lunch and dinner or dine out in a restaurant. Last October 24, we celebrated our 15 wedding monthsary at Glorietta. Di muna kami lumayo ngayon since I easily got tried from walking, alam nyo naman nalaki narin tummy ko. Anyway, di naman ako choosy when it comes to food so I told my husband to decide where to have our dinner that night.

We settled at Don Henrico’s, this is not our 1^st time to try this restaurant that’s why we already have an idea on what to order. I ordered for Caesar Salad, wala lang parang gusto kong mag gulay for my baby, there’s no special thing about this dish but I love it. It’s a combination of Crisp lettuce on Caesa dressing with roasted garlic chips, tomato, olives, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, crisp bacon crumbles and croutons.

Ian ordered for Chicken ala Buffalo, this is the highlight of the day. Traditional updated New York style tender pieces of chicken marinated (you can get either chicken pieces or wings), cooked to perfection and coated with tangy BBQ sauce. The sauce is so unique and something hard to describe. I really don’t know how Don Henrico’s gets to maintain the quality of its chicken. The Garlic Ranch dipping sauce complements the chicken. The chicken itself was cooked well, has strong flavor or sweet, juicy, spicy and salty.

My husband also ordered for Supreme Lasagna (Cheesy). This dish was superb! Lasagna noodles topped with home-made ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese and sautéed beef chunks baked until cheese is bubbly. It is topped with lasagna red and white sauce sprinkled with parmesan cheese. They are generous to put lots of cheese. Hehe.
