Certified Wife Cooked: Fried Bangus in Spicy Butter Sauce

This post is actually long overdue and I’m so sorry for that. Medyo natabunan na kasi sa dami ng naka draft sa blog ko.. Anyway, 3 weeks ago I decided to cook my husband another new dish for dinner. This time I tried what my dad sent me on my email before. Kita mo naman napa s upportive ng dad ko sa pagluluto ko..  If you’re tired of the usual fried daing na bangus, this recipe is perfect for you.

Ingredients:

2 whole deboned bangus, divided into 2 parts
¼ cup of flour or cornstarch
½ cup calamnsi juice
Pepper to taste
Knorr seasoning
¼ bar of salted butter
1 to 2 pcs siling labuyo
Calamansi, cut in halves

Procedures:

1. Marinate bangus filler in calamansi juice, knorr and pepper. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
2. While waiting, cream your butter and add salt and siling labuyo. Taste to make sure it suits you. Place in a container and put in the refrigerator until needed.
3. Douse your bangus in cornstarch or flour and shallow fry until coating is crisp and golden brown. Place on paper napkins to remove excess oil.
4. Place prepared butter in the microwave until melted. Drizzle on fish fillets before serving, and serve the rest in a bowl in case extra butter sauce is required.
5. Serve hot with plain rice.

You can try this at home and promise your family will love it - simply irresistible. So go ahead and try it!
