Pregnancy fills a woman’s life with anxiety,
fear and is the best of time that a woman is keen to experience but to tell you
honestly, I love being pregnant although sometimes it is so difficult especially
in sleeping, that’s why all pregnant women need to stay healthy. You need to
conserve your energy for a strong delivery.
There are lots of things that pregnant women should
follow and here are some reminders that I’ve learned from my mom and friends
who just gave birth or already have children.
- Need to exercise regularly but moderate and low impact only for at least 30 minutes a day. Walking, yoga and swimming are the best.
- Since we usually go out during weekend for our event and my husband is non-pro driver, I should always use a seat belt. Mahirap na baka tumalsik kami ni baby.
- I am not allowed to lift something heavy because it can cause stress on my baby. I’m not afraid to seek out for help.
- Pregnant women should keep hydrated, so you need to drink more than 8 glasses of water/fluids a day.
- Drink Cranberry Juices to prevent UTI.
- Pregnant women should not use scents, sanitary napkins or even feminine wash because some of the products annoy the vaginal area and raise the chance of having UTI. (Urinary Tract Infection)
- Eating well during pregnancy is vital for development and eating right are some of the do’s that are suggested to keep you safer at this period. Make sure you are getting a balanced diet including protein, healthy fats, carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables.
- Avoid eating RAW/Uncooked food which may contain bacteria.
- Avoid eating unpasteurized food and some milk and juices.
- Wear flat and comfortable shoes / sandals.
- Wear loose dress or shirt.
Most important
is to stay as stress-free as possible. Because hormones created by too much
stress can create problems during pregnancy which can also extend to the baby.

Like what I told you before, my husband spoils
me so much. Lalo na when we found out that we’re having a baby girl, may
princess na daw sya, well, kung ako spoiled na sa kanya what more pa si baby
rhian? So all soon-to- be-mom out there, always STAY HEALTHY! Happy Pregnancy!
