Surprises on our 1st Wedding Anniversary

Okay, so let me share you how my husband surprised me on our 1^st wedding anniversary. Believe me, kikiligin rin kayo tulad ko.. Hehe.

Ako – Honey, wag na tayong mag regalo sa isa’t isa since need natin mag ipon para kay baby.

Ian – Okay cge, tipid mode na muna tayo, ang importante naman is magkasama tayo sa anniversary natin.

But I’m wrong, because I never thought that my husband prepares something for me. How sweet! Three days before our anniversary, I saw my husband doing something which I publicize in my Instagram and FB account:

“Look! Sinong busy? Mister, gagawa ka lang ng gift para sa akin on our 1st wedding anniversary talagang dapat sa harap ko pa? Db pwedeng surprise? Haha.. Tago ka naman.”

And here’s another one, he bought chocolates on that day which he posted in his Instagram account. I have no idea that he will use it for his BIG surprise. Ang slow ko talaga, kala ko kc para samin lang yun at kakainin namin. Hehe.

A day before our anniversary, we were so busy packing our things for our staycation in Tagaytay (will post the whole details soon), so I’m confident that he has no gift or any surprise for me, ako ba naman ang nag impake ng mga gamit namin kaya 100% akong wala syang gift sakin. But I’m wrong!!!!

I slept first because I’m tired and my tummy was throbbing. When I jerked out of sleep around 2am, I can’t find my husband on our bed. Waahh.. Nasaan na asawa ko.. Huhu. I called him and asked where he is, he immediately replied “aakyat na ko” meaning, he still awake? E mag dri-drive pa sya.. Gggrrr.. So nainis pa ko sa kanya saying “Ako ba talaga ginagalit mo ha, anniversary pa naman natin baka mag away tayo..” but since malambing talaga asawa ko, he kissed me and hug me while saying “Happy 1^st Wedding Anniversary”. Aaaww.. So sweet!

We woke up by 5am; my husband went down first while I’m still lying in our bed. (sarap pang mahiga, naka on pa aircon naming.. Hehe) then I realize, we need to leave Makati before 7am or else huli kami (coding ang sasakyan namin). After 5 minutes, I went down slowly. Nagtataka kc ako kung bakit naka close parin yung ilaw sa baba samantalang nauna nang bumaba asawa ko.. Hhhhmm..

As I reach the last step of the stairs, the lights turn on, and then I saw this amazing set up! Waahhhhh!!!

Ian – Surprise! Happy 1^st Wedding Anniversary Honey!

Now, can you imagine my reaction after seeing this set up?! Ako na ang may pinakamahabang buhok sa buong mundo.. The idea itself came from my husband, the balloons, the cake and cake holder, the individual letters, the flowers, the messenger notes, etc. of course with the help of his officemate Gen (owner of Ingenuity) who made the cake holder and the paper roses bouquet. Aaww.. So sweet!

What I really love and appreciate most is that, pinagpuyatan and pinaghirapan nya lahat just to make me feel that I’m special and blessed to have him in my life. I cried while reading the messages he wrote in the hanging balloons, I can feel his unconditional love and sincerity, I can feel that God gave me the man who really loves me for who I am, the man who will makes me happy every single day.

I can’t control myself not to cry, I don’t know basta super saya ko that morning. Nabangit ko nga sa kanya na cguro kaya bongga yung surprise nya kc pambawi nya dahil wala sya nung 1^st anniversary naming as bf/gf and 1^st anniversary as engaged couple. Hehe.

Overall, I can say that he really surprised me! As in! I have no idea about this thing, imagine kung sino pa mas busy sa work and sa sports sya pa tong may bonggang surprise para sa anniversary namin, samantala ako na mas maraming time para gumawa ng surprise, simple letter lang nabigay sa kanya.. Huhu. He understand me naman, since I am not allowed to be stress, wawa naman baby namin pag nagkataon.

So guys, kinilig rin ba kayo sa surprise ng asawa ko?! Bato lang cguro ang hindi kikiligin db. Now, I am proud to say na TAMANG LALAKI ANG PINAKASALAN KO!
