Searching for Santouka is a
bit difficult, thank to Ayala concierge they are updated with the new
restaurants around the area. This restaurant
located in Glorietta 4, facing the SM foodcourt. I was searching for some
reviews about this store and found out that this Santouka was originally from
Hokkaido Japan. The owner was inspired to put his own ramen shop up after
seeing Tampopo in the 80’s just wanting to be someone who could put together
the best ramen. Well, you don’t need to go in Japan just to taste the best
ramen, because they opened its first store in Glorietta. Wooohooo…
We arrived at the store
around 8pm and was not able to find a seat immediately because the place was jam-packed.
Ian – Honey, db si Binay yun?
RN – huh? Asan?
Ian- Ayun sa may kanan sa may
dulo..
RN – Hindi sya yun, kc walang
mga PSG.
(sabay tingin sa likod na
puno ng pulis at PSG)
RN – uu nga honey, si binay
nga yun.. Haha.
The place is a bit small but
super nice, modern design accentuated with a few wooden pieces. The restaurant
has two private rooms that cater your party or privacy needs.
The menu is still pretty
limited (I guess they are still on their soft opening). I have no idea what to
order so I asked my husband to choose my food. He picked Shoyu Ramen for me, the
taste was so delicious as in probably one of the best that I've tried.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is
the best place for Ramen. I will definitely come back here for my random ramen cravings;
I’d love to try a lot of other stuff from the menu too,
