Since I got married, I want to be a chef (chos!) libre naman mangarap db at malay mo magkatotoo someday, that’s why I make sure to cook at least two different dishes for a week, para narin kay hubby. (**kilig**) I’m soooooo happy when I’m at our kitchen especially when I follow the instructions on my cooking book. Nakaka challenge! I must say “AKO ANG REYNA NG KUSINA” sa amin, since every day I cooked our meal from breakfast to lunch and sometimes dinner. So now, I cooked Easy Chicken Pastel from Kitchenomics.
Ingredients:
½ kg chicken breast, deboned and cut into
chunks
½ tbs soy sauce
½ tsp pepper
1 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, crushed
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onin, sliced
1 pc chorizo de bilbao, sliced
150gram carrot, cut into chunks
2 pc hotdog, sliced
1 pouch (200g) Del Monte Filipino Style Tomato
Sauce
3 tbsp evaporated milk
¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
Procedures:
1. Season chicken with soy sauce and pepper. Set
aside.
2. Saute garlic and onion in butter and oil. Add
chicken and chorizo. Cook until chicken is slightly browned.
3. Add carrot and hotdog. Cook for 10 minutes.
4. Add Del Monte Tomato Sauce. Cover and simmer
for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Stir in milk. Allow to simmer. Top with cheese
before serving.
(If desire, put in baking pan, top with mashed
potatoes and grated cheese, then bake until slightly browned.)
Presenting, Easy Chicken Pastel from Del Monte
Kitchenomics.
As usual, according to my loving husband and
officemates, the taste is soooooo delicious! Mga bolero talaga kayo! Haha.
It looks good sis Rackell at parang madali lang siyang lutuin. Would love to try this at home. Thanks.
