Hotel Review: Impiana Hotel

After our 5 days trip at Singapore, our next destination - Malaysia! Our first option was to ride a bus from SG to KL and travel for about 6-7 hours.. Oh noh! Sayang ang oras, we only have 2 days left before going home. Sayang naman if mauubos lang sya sa byahe! Pau, our dear friend suggested to travel via plane, she told us to book at Jetstar for cheaper price. So right after our tour at Sentosa, we went home and Hubby immediately opens his laptop and book a flight for our trip the following day.

We booked our flight to KL and asked the receptionist if they allow us to use their printer because we need to print our e-ticket, thank God because they let us send our ticket and print it without any other charges, Thank you FragranceHotel!

We wake up as early as 8am, prepare our things and travel from Fragrance Hotel to Changi Airport. We had our quick lunch at KFC and proceed to the boarding area. Yehey! KL here we come!!!

Booking a hotel in KL is so difficult for us, Hubby wants to reserve a room that is near or should I say overlooking Petronas Tower. Mas romantic daw kasi pag overlooking yung Petronas Tower, ala JL and Bea lang naman ang drama! Haha. So from five choices, Impiana Hotel wins!

Impiana Hotel is located amidst the cosmopolitan capital of Kuala Lumpur. From KLIA to Impiana Hotel is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, but still it depends on the traffic. KL is like Manila, so many vehicles on the road especially during rush hour. 

Impiana Hotel is a perfect location that lies near tourist spot such as Petronas Twin Tower, Suria KLCC, KLCC Park, KL Convention Center and Menara KL.

We arrived at the hotel around 5:30pm; we were greeted by a very courteous staff and give us welcome drinks. Hubby immediately approach the receptionist and confirm our reservation. The lobby is really spacious and clean; hanging from the ceiling is magnificent chandelier. The reception and concierge service is good and the staffs are very accommodating.

We booked for overnight stay at Superior Room located at 4^th floor. The room is spacious and tastefully designed 30sq/meter room featuring clean and stylish timber flooring extending the “Home away from Home” feeling.

The entrance with the closet on the left and the washroom on the right. The room is superb! It comes with a queen size bed. The bed sheets are soft, clean and scented as well as the pillow.

By the way, this hotel offers a 24-hour pillow service. You can get your pillow changed even in the middle of the night if the one you are sleeping on is not comfortable for you.

The mini bar where you can find the coffee and tea making facilities, with free sachets of coffee, tea and two small bottles of mineral water. The room also include a mini refrigerator, all items inside are chargeable.

Oh, I love the closet! The drawers are big enough to tuck away all our belongings. Other room facilities includes, safety box, two pair of slippers, bathrobes, weighing scale, iron and ironing board and hair dryer.

Complimentary fruit platter.

There is a study table with a big mirror, a perfect extra space to place our other small items like cellphone and batteries.

Okay, I love the bathroom! I swear! I want to stay here for 3 hours and relax at the bath tub. They provide the basic toiletries, bath towel, hand towels, drier and also bubble bath soap. I should say this is a 5-star bathroom!

The room is complemented with high-speed Internet access, cable LCD Television, 24-hour concierge service, in-room dining service and daily morning newspaper.

There is an infinity-edge swimming pool on the same floor, so we opted to check it out and take a good shot. We don’t have extra time to try the pool since we have limited time in KL.

Staying at Impiana Hotel with my hubby is one of the most unforgettable experiences during our honeymoon trip!
