Happy 44th Monthsary!

Ian and I celebrate our 44th monthsary yesterday, March 24. We always celebrate our monthsary together; we make sure that this special day makes it sweeter than the previous month. I prefer to celebrate it in Megamall just for a change of ambiance. I left the office around 6:00pm and straight ahead to Megamall. As usual, there are lots of people entering the MRT since it's already rush hour. I control my temper just to make sure that I'm in a good mood when I see him. Past 6:40pm when I arrived to our meeting place. We come to a decision to have our dinner first since I feel hungry that time. Ian chooses to try Mesa located at Atrium.

The place was so cozy; it is a fine dining restaurant that offers Filipino foods. I love the place, for me it's so romantic that plays love song as a background music. Since this is our first time to try this restaurant, as usual we think twice for our orders. We are looking for the salad section to order for our favorite Caesar Salad; unfortunately, they don't offer that, so Ian decides to try the Manga Salad.

It is Julienned green mango with shallots and cilantro dressed with sweet fish sauce added by a little chili and onions which makes the salad tasty.

Ian really loves Kare-Kare, in fact this is one of his favorite dish. So he opts to order one. The dish includes Kare Kare beef and tribe with fresh vegetables cooked in a rich creamy peanut sauce. We have nothing to say the whole night but "Super Sarap!" especially their Bagoong which makes it appetizing.

Ian added Pork Binagoongan. It is a Pan fried pork belly sauteed in shrimp paste with vegetables with a small amount of Bagoong which makes our dinner yummier.

We ordered two garlic rice first, but when we taste the 2 main dishes that we ordered, Ian decided to get another 1 garlic rice, so total of 3 rice for the 2 of us. Haha.
