Max's Restaurant

I received a text message from my mom yesterday, informing me that she will treat us for dinner. So I left the office around 5:35pm and go off to Waltermart to wait for them. The first thing we do was to have grocery at supermarket. My dad goes after us since he's waiting for a phone call from his boss. JM is sick so she won't able to come with us as well as Ate Aissa because she is still in the office that time. So here are some stuffs that we purchased.

Then after that, my mom requested to have our dinner at Max's Restaurant.

She is craving for the fried chicken that they offer. We were greeted by a nice and courteous waitress and assist us to our seats. My mom ordered for our appetizer first, so she decides to have Veggie Lumpia bites. It embraces with fresh vegetables with mayonnaise for sauce. Yummy.

My mom and dad ordered Spring Half Chicken. My dad refuses to have rice since he takes merienda late in the afternoon.

The Max fried chicken they offer is the original and classic that made Max's Filipino Institution. Golden fried top perfections with unique blend of secret spices, "talagang sarap to the bones!!!".

As I told you before, my mom doesn't eat rice during dinner so she opts to have Rolls and butter instead.

My dad wants me to try the Sizzling Tofu which is JM's favorite dish, so he ordered 1 for us.

The sizzling tofu includes tofu cubes with chopped onions, red and green bell peppers, glazed with a special sauce which served on a hot sizzling plate topped with chili and good for 2-3 persons.

For me, since I skipped merienda, I chose to have Fiesta Plate Meal. It includes a quarter of Max's signature fried chicken, complemented with fresh lumpiang ubod, steamed rice, glass of Lipton Ice tea and caramel bar.
