Last Friday, February 26 Ian and I met in Glorietta 4 to have our mall tour and at the same time another food trip to close our month end celebration. Since we always want to a fast service for our hunger, we have no other choice but to eat agin in Glorietta 4's Food Choices. We've been eating there so many time; actually I guess we already try the entire booth there.

So what we have on that day is to try the Meister's, I guess it is sister company of Almon Marina. It is located beside the President Tea House. Since Ian is currently on diet, he ordered Burger, Pasta and Fries meal. He chooses Bolognese as sauce for his Pasta.

Burger, Pasta and Fries Meal Php 145.00

Since I forgot to take merienda because of work, definitely I need to take a big servings for my dinner. I try Roast chicken, Pasta and Salad meal, I chooses Beef Stroganoff as sauce for my pasta. I really love pasta especially Carbonara. The chicken is good as well as the pasta, however, I didn't enjoy their salad because they don't put dressing on top of it so I give it to Ian and let him consume all of it.

Roast chicken, Pasta and Salad Meal Php 135.00

For our drinks, we don't order drinks because Ian brought 1 liter of Fit and Right. Maybe you all know why he always carries F&R. (Ian is addicted in gym & dream to have his 8 packs abs soon for summer. Haha..)

1 liter Pineapple Fit and Right Php 50.00

February 24, 2010, Wednesday is another special day for Ian and I celebrate our 3rd year and 7th month or in short our 43rd monthsary. This is a little bit different compare to our other celebration. I have a meeting on the afternoon at House of Minis in Pasig and don't know what time my work will ends. Suddenly, I noticed that it's already past 5pm and I need to be back in Makati and continue our plans to have dinner date at Glorietta or Greenbelt, but Ms. Ging which is actually my buddy in doing reports told me not to come back in Makati and have our date in Tiendesitas which is actually walking distance from HOM. I think God wants us to have different kind of celebration because I received a text message from Ian and told me that he will fetch me in HOM since he is working within Ortigas area and less hassle for both of us to travel back to Makati and have our dinner date. I asked him if he knows the Ugong Pasig which I am located that time, but unfortunately he don't know or even try to cross the threshold of Pasig. I'm so confused if he will be able to fetch me before 6pm since he's not familiar with the place at the same time traffic begins. But God is good, I received a phone call from him telling that he's already in the HOM. Ms. Ging is so much excited to meet him because she wants to see and know Ian personally. She definitely interested to know who my love of my life is. Naks. Then, I introduced Ian to Ms. Ging and vice versa, then a little advise where can we celebrate our monthsary. No other choice but to explore the attractiveness of Tiendesitas. This is actually our first time to scroll in Tiendesitas together. I've been there once when JR and I look for something way back December 2009. Ian also tries to scroll around the mall and search for my requested VS bag as his Valentine's gift for me, unfortunately, out of stock! ggrr...

After a glimpse of Tiendesitas, do some window shopping and look for the best place where can we eat, we decided to try out SM Supermarket (Pasig) which besides Tiendesitas. Since both of us are first timer in the said mall, we look around and find a place to dine in. Ian is craving for pizza, so when we saw A Veneto Pizzeria near entrance we decided to try it again, but Ian insisted to try different restaurant. So I suggest him to try food at House of Minis which is actually owned by Ms. Ging and her family.

Upon entering the said restaurant, we greeted by a good waiter (which is actually I know for almost 2 years), give us table for 2 but actually it's table for 4 pax. Haha. When we are browsing the menu, Ms. Ging arrived. She asks what our order and suddenly I asked her the same question and askingher what is the best seller that HOM can offer. Ian chooses the regular size of Swiss steak with Cheese Sauce. This is one of their best sellers.

Swiss steak with Cheese Sauce Php 450.00

Since I already know some of their menu, because I've been here many time before and Ms. Ging always treats me lunch whenever we have meetings there. So I definitely order for mini size Beef Burger which is prime cuts already and served sizzling. Actually, you can have full stomach when you try all of their specialties, because it includes soup of the day, salad, dinner rolls and a dessert.

Beef Burger Php 250.00

Ms. Ging also tells us that they offer the best Ice Tea and Ian wants to try it, so he ordered HOM Ice Tea which according to him it tastes like a cherry flavored iced tea.

HOM Iced Tea Php 80.00

Ian have no idea how big servings that HOM offer, so he add 1 garlic rice. But upon seeing his order, he pleased me to get half of the rice. Haha. (Garlic Rice Php 50.00)

We have a full blast of dinner after eating our complimentary ube ice cream which is included already in our order.

Of course, our date will not be complete without picture taking with Ms. Ging.

We left the House of Minis around 8:15pm since we need to go early to have some beauty rest and prepare for another day for work.

Thanks to Ms. Ging for the 10% discount she gave us. We promise her that we will be back again soon.

I received a message from Biboy last Wednesday, February 17 and asking if we already watched Percy Jackson. I immediately reply to his question and told him that we are not able to watch that movie. So he invites us together with our dear friends' yen, jim and michelle to watch it last Friday, February 19. I made the reservation for us, 6 pax showing around 8:00pm at Glorietta 4. Since I left the office early, I arrived at Glorietta around 5:45pm. Thank God that Ian arrived early as well. We decided to get the reserved seats and have our early dinner since I'm already starving. Upon walking and searching for the food that my stomach wants, Ian takes in another new stall in Glorietta. You all know that we are food lovers right, so with no other choice we try The President Tea House.

We order Combo 1 which includes 1 rice, vegetables, 1 main dish, chicharon and soup. For me I choose to try the spicy spare ribs.

Combo # 1 with spicy spare ribs Php 108.00

Ian chooses the sweet and sour as main dish.

Combo # 1 with sweet and sour Php 108.00

To satisfy our dinner, we match it with Black Gulaman.

Black Gulaman Php 15.00

After our heavy dinner, we do our usual picture taking then decided to scroll around the mall while waiting for the others to arrive. Finally Biboy came in, followed by Michelle who both buy foods at Wendy's then yen arrived and last but not the least, Jim.

Last February 16, 2010 Tuesday, Ian fetch me up in our office because I feel dizzy due of my severe cough and colds. Ian make sure that I still have enough energy to try our favorite past time, FOOD TRIP. It's Tuesday again and of course, we need to try new dishes in new restaurant of course. While scrolling around glorietta 4, we notice new stall in the rear area. When we look at it, we noticed lots of people fall in line just to make orders and try the new bistro. Ian convinced me to try greek food. This will be our first time to try greek dishes. While checking to their menu, I finalized my order; I go for Gyro Chix Platter.

Gyro Chix Platter Php 155.00
Actually, I cannot say anything good or even bad things about the food; my only regret is that my taste buds are not good at all so I don't even know the real taste of what I had ordered. Maybe I'll try it again next time.

Ian ordered Lamb Platter which is actually enough I think for 2 persons, however, we keep on waiting for almost 10 minutes to serve the food. The food is good, I can taste a little bit since it includes sauce that makes the Lamb tastier.
Lamb Platter Php 195.00
Then, since we are both not feeling well and need water to ease our thirsty, we decided to have bottled water.

Viva Mineral Water Php 30.00
We ended up with full stomach but not that pleased at all since we are both unsatisfied not for the food but the feeling of faintness we feel. We promise that we will try it again once we are both in good conditon.

"I've still been searching
And long I have waited
For someone to like me as me
To laugh with
To cry with
To be just beside with
A friend that's who I need..."

"Farewell to you my friends,
Well see each other again
Don't cry cause it's not the end of everything
I maybe miles away
But here is where my heart will stay
With you, my friends, with you.."

What is good in saying goodbye? Actually, this is the 2nd time that I said farewell for a friend in FDC. I remember when Rein leaves the FDC and have her own life as a Manager in Mc Do. Then, recently, another good friend of mine need to leave us again for her career growth. This girl, I can say is one of the best. At first, I though we cannot be as close as we are right now but since we have so much in common we became closer as I'm not expected. We love to laugh,

She is my running buddy and our dear president of the running club. I miss those days when she walks in the corridor and suddenly heard her voice saying "Racks!". Haha. I miss the way she smiles, the way she open her mouth that even an elephant can enter. Haha.

Her trademark... haha

I miss the way she looks at me, the way she approach me to look for the Expanded Calendar and check if Sir Raymund or Sir Jorge is available for meeting on this day on this time. I miss her asking us if we are all available on Friday night just to watch movie or even just have some food trips. I miss her telling some chismac and laugh out together. I miss the way she shares her love story problems and still expecting that one day she will file for SL. (You know what I mean guys!) Haha.. I think, to sum it all I really miss one of the most important person here in FDC. Now, I am asking myself, do I still find true happiness to stay here even without her. Maybe, YES! Because I know I still have some true friends with me here that I can say who will not leave me until the end of the battle, that still understand my childish attitude, who still listen to my unstoppable stories about anything under the sun but still our group will not be complete without Steph!

Steph, thank you for everything. For the knowledge you've shared with me, for the tears and laughter's we've shared. I know our friendship will not end here in FDC and someday we will see each other again.

I really miss you Steph!

How do you celebrate your Valentine's Day this year? Romantic dinner date with candle lights? or Watching movie with popcorn and drinks? Ian and I try different kinds of celebrating Heart's Day!
We are both excited to celebrate again the Valentine's Day together. I remember the first Valentine's we celebrated was way back 2007. Since Valentine's fall on weekday that time, we celebrate it with a simple dinner at Aristocrat MOA and have some picture taking of course.
I also remember when we joined the Close Up Lavapalooza last February 10, 2007 at MOA open ground. It is an event where the Philippines will try to win back the world record of the most number of couples kissing together. Here is our official couple's number and some kilig moments during the said event.

On the year 2008, we celebrated our Valentine's Day in simple but memorable. We dined at The Red Crab, Greenbelt 3 with a pianist that will play your requested song. It's so romantic I swear!

Dinner at The Red Crab

On the year 2009, we did not celebrate it together since he stay in Japan from September 2008 -March 2009. So sad...

This year, we both decided to celebrate our Valentine's Day in a little bit exciting. Our friends planned to have an out of town trip last February 13 - 14, 2010. Our destination was to watch Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark Pampanga then straight ahead to Zambales for our Anawangin - Capones Trip. We are both excited since this was our first time to celebrate the special day out of town and also our first time to visit Anawangin which I think the popular place for Landscape photography. A week before the said event, Ian and I busy doing shopping spree for the foods that we will bring on our trip. In our list are the following: Junk foods, Biscuits, Candies and Water. The day has come, the day that we are all waiting for, February 13, 2010.

Day 1: Hot Air Balloon Festival at Clark Pampanga

Then after a glimpse and picture taking of flying balloon, we then headed at Jollibee Clark to have our breakfast.

Then, we travel for about 1.5 hours to reach the city of Zambales.

Check in at Wild Rose Beach Inn then straight ahead to Anawangin to have our lunch and start our adventure.

2nd Day: Happy Valentine's Day (Capones Island)

We wake up early to have our 2nd adventure. Breakfast served around 7:30am, then we all set and ready on board by 8:20am. We reached the Capones Island around 9:00am and start our photowalk and hiking to reach the famous light house. I think we consume 30 minutes just to arrive at the light house. But when reach the peak, all you stress, worries, problems and even the pain in your heart will sweep away.

all girls.. ooppss.. sorry grape andyan ka pala.. hehe

After an hour of exploring the light house, we decided to go back to the island to have our lunch and prepare our things back to Manila.
